Membership is by invitation only. 

If you have a bachelor or advanced degree(s) from an accredited four-year college or university, membership is obtained through a graduate chapter.
An active graduate chapter will extend an authorized and written membership letter of invitation upon approval of the official Membership Intake Process to prospective members.

To reactivate with us, please complete the Graduate Chapter Reactivation Form – complete and submit to the chapter, plus money order/certified check for reactivation/reinstatement fees, chapter dues, fees and assessments, as applicable. Kappa Omega Chapter meetings are open to members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®.  

Chapter meetings are held the third Saturday of each month (except July and August) at 11:00 a.m.  Business attire is required for all chapter meetings, unless otherwise noted. 

Visiting Sorors should contact the Membership Committee Chairman for more information. 

Appropriate membership documentation must  be submitted prior to admittance.

Forms of acceptable identification include:

  1. Current or expired financial card

  2. Official certificate of sorority membership

  3. Transfer verification form from respective chapter with required signatures.

  4. An Ivy Leaf® magazine showing the member's financial card number and address attached.
