Monica Hopkins is deeply committed to serving others and making a meaningful impact on every community she touches. With more than 20 years of experience as a retail manager, she successfully led multimillion-dollar stores across Los Angeles, St. Louis, New York, and Atlanta.

Over the past decade, Monica has found great fulfillment in guiding students through the application process for accelerated nursing programs, helping them achieve their educational and professional goals.

She firmly believes that education is the foundation for empowering individuals to create positive change in the world and that there is something to be learned from everyone. Monica’s personal mission is simple yet powerful: To leave every place and every person better than she found them.

Giving back is central to who Monica is. She views herself as a civil servant with a calling to serve others. Her community involvement includes initiatives such as feeding the hungry, supporting Toys for Tots, and assisting seniors in need. Monica believes that even small acts of kindness can brighten someone’s day and create lasting impact.

Monica was initiated into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, on April 14, 1995, through the Epsilon Iota Chapter at Southern Illinois.
